Windsurfing: Shoreham Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: F5 Surf / Sea State: 1-2ft waves Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Shoreham today. Hit the water at just after 6pm I guess and packed it in at
9:45pm. Only stepped ashore a couple of times when I got washed up by the
whitewater and once when I thought about packing up but changed my mind.
Didnt tweak or adjust the sail at all. 5m was spot on from start to finish.
When I launched it was full planing powered mode, but the kit was so
'right' that the sail felt weightless. Wind was fully cross shore with
waves and ramps in the 1-2 foot range. Lovely stuff. Had some pleasing
downwind hacks off the lip. There was a lighter wind spell at about 8
o'clock, but it filled back in. Highlight was fine rain falling while it
was blazing sunshine. Must have been right on the edge of the cloud, but
not blocking out the sun. Rainbows etc.
